Francesca Cazenove and Syler Morgwain are the duo behind Doppelganger. In mid July they released this funky fashion conscious budget friendly set of bikinis (I think the fatpack of everything – in a bajillion styles – was like L$400.) And they’ve kept up the quality and freshness by holding on to a nautical theme including fun things like a Shark Bait tee shirt and “Crabby Pants” boypants covered in cute crabs.

The aesthetic is very casual and they don’t take themselves too seriously as digital fashion mavens – just two fun people coming up with goofy fun to share with the rest of us.

The saltwater taffy pinstripe bikini is covered in ruffles on the backside of the bottom piece while the top sports a set of matching ruffles along the bust – just the places you want a lot of frilly fun bounce.

If you haven’t visited Doppelganger yet, I encourage a visit – the new mainstore looks like a giant cardboard box – my dream house when I was 7. I’m a little older than that now, but it brings back happy memories and there’s plenty of interesting clothes to browse too.
